The idea is not only getting super savers and offers in the hotels and other travel expenses. Yet another important thing is to get the best locations, hotels and safer environments. The Travel Agent needs to be aware of the places and hotels he is talking about before booking you. Otherwise both you and the Travel Agent will be at odds after your journey.  You will be disappointed with the way you have been treated all along and the Travel Agent will be dismayed by your awry stories.

If your Travel Agent has a well connected network or has his own people to guide you in your tour, you will be taken care of pretty well. So, it becomes necessary that you know your Travel Agent quite well. If it is a Travel Desk operated by a well-known hotel group or part of a well-established business group with interests spread across several verticals and have good known history in business, you can be assured that you will not get a raw deal.
